Bernie Scheffler
Executive Director
Bernie joined Cowtown Clubhouse as Executive Director in November 2025, after 10 years working with individuals experiencing homelessness, and the organizations that help them.
A believer in the power of relationships to improve wellness outcomes, he is excited to help shape this chapter in the Cowtown Clubhouse story.
Autumn Claypool
Clubhouse Director
Autumn joined Cowtown Clubhouse in February 2026 as Clubhouse Director.
Prior to that, she spent six years providing mental health coaching to older adults in Tarrant County.
Autumn's favorite thing about the Clubhouse model is that members are welcome for life.
Jeff DeLong
Staff Generalist
Jeff joined the Clubhouse staff in August 2024.
Prior to that, he spent 20 years as a classroom teacher in Fort Worth and also worked as a street outreach worker supporting unsheltered individuals. Jeff loves the sense of community at the Clubhouse and enjoys getting to know members' unique stories.
Amanda Boxley
Staff Generalist
Amanda joined the Clubhouse staff in February 2026.
Prior to that, she worked at the Howard and Sally Levin Clubhouse (a program of the Branch) in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Amanda's favorite part of the clubhouse model is working alongside members as they try new skills.
