Become a Member

The Clubhouse offers a supportive community for adults living with a history of mental illness.  Mental illness is complex and often misunderstood. 

• Have a history of mental illness 
• Be at least 18 years of age 
• Refrain from alcohol/drug use while at the Clubhouse 
• Be an active participant in your own personal wellness and recovery plan 
• Not pose a mental, physical, or emotional threat to yourself or others at the Clubhouse 
• Be able to provide your own self care while at the Clubhouse 
• Be willing to interact with others in a spirit of respect and integrity 

• You are welcomed here as a person not as a patient. 
• Our focus is on relationships, skills, and your strengths, not on your illness. 
• Attendance is voluntary, so you can attend as often as you’d like for as long as you’d like. 

• A right to a place to belong 
• A right to meaningful work 
• A right to meaningful relationships 
• A right to a place to return 

Once you’re a member, you’re welcome as a lifelong Cowtown Clubhouse member and welcome at Clubhouses throughout the world. 

We gather information about our members so that we may use the data to apply for grants, ask for donations, and use the numbers for reports to Clubhouse International.  All data we share is in aggregate form without personal identifiers.  The information you provide will be used for this purpose, and it is not required for membership.
